A well-loved warehouse wedding venue in East London, TheHackney.co is a beautiful space filled with lots of industrial details, hanging greenery and lots of natural light. It’s perfect for more intimate weddings, with the ability seat 20 guests or 100 standing, along with a private sun-lit courtyard garden for welcome drinks. The venue always looks spectacular and this is in part due to them working with some of London’s best florists to create their floral installations.

2. Hackney Church Brew Co. 

East London 

Named after the Parish Church, this brewery wedding venue is filled with lots of natural light and has a spacious garden available too. Sitting within a renovated railway arch, it has space for up to 100 of your guests seated, or 300 standing.

3. Brunel Museum 

South East London 

Originally a Grade II listed building founded in the 1800’s by the Brunel’s, a well known engineering family, Brunel Museum has all the hallmarks you’d expect from a beautiful industrial venue - exposed concrete walls, original brick walls and rustic metalwork. Along with the indoor venue, it also has the Bothanica Roof Garden courtyard, which is great for welcome or post ceremony drinks. The venue can host up to 120 guests seated or 125 standing, and is conveniently just 50 yards from Rotherhithe Station.

East London 

Featuring 1950’s architecture, Hatch started life as a print factory loading bay and went on to have a chequered history as a clothes market, illegal nightclub and boxing gym, to name just a few! Now this hidden gem takes on a new life as a unique and quirky wedding venue featuring tall ceilings, two mezzanines and is surrounded by lots of lovely greenery to set the tone for your wedding day.

5. Woolwich Works 

South East London 

Retaining lots of its original architecture, Woolwich Works has been refurbished in a modern and cool style, with 21st century comforts in mind. The venue is home to several beautiful rooms for weddings of varying sizes and boasts both indoor and outdoor space too. The venue is fully licensed, they recommend hosting your ceremony for up to 130 guest in the Beanfeast space, followed by a reception of up to 130 in The Knight Gallery. For bigger bashes, you can host up to a huge 1,000 guests in the Fireworks Factory space.

6. Small Beer Brewery 

South East London 

Nestled in the heart of Bermondsey, you’ll find the Small Beer Brewery, home to a versatile event space and extensive tap room. Situated very close to the Thames, it is an ideal location for an intimate and laid-back wedding, with sustainable sourced beer on tap and furry friends allowed to roam the venue too.

7. MC Motors

East London 

Spanning a large 6000 square feet, MC Motors is a well-loved warehouse wedding and event venue that started it’s life as both part of the nearby school and individual industrial units. During the war, the area was bombed and connected all the spaces via the central skylighted roof, meaning that the venue quirkily also features an untouched victorian street running through the middle. The decor now is quirky and fun and all the original features make for the perfect wedding backdrop. The venue can host up to 200 guests seated or 350 standing, is available for full day or weekend hire and is also handily a dry hire wedding venue - so you can bring your own booze in!

8. West Reservoir Centre 

North London 

Right by the reservoir in Stoke Newington, you’ll find this 1930’s Art Deco building sitting as the perfect alternative wedding venue. Host up to 150 of your guests in the tall Tower Room and make the most of the two wooden terraces on the water, perfect for spring and summer weddings. The venue also handily has 35 parking spaces, ideal for those guests who have travelled from afar.

9. Trinity Buoy Wharf 

London 

Originally an historic Chain Store, Trinity Buoy Wharf was built in 1854 and is connected to London’s only lighthouse. Within this Grade II listed brick building, you’ll find triple height ceilings, 420 square metres of indoor space, along with an optional 1,528 square metres of riverside terrace that enables you take take advantage of the lovely Thameside views. The venue will be exclusively yours and can host between 70 to 600 of your guests.

10. Walthamstow Wetlands 

London 

With beautiful views of both the Wetlands and the London skyline, this lovely venue is situated within 211 hectares of nature reserve with 10 reservoirs to its name. As a licensed wedding venue, you can host your big day within The Engine House, a locally listed building that can seat up to 60 guests for your ceremony and up to 300 guests for your reception.
