1. Domaine de Canaille

Tucked in the bay of Cassis on the French Riviera, Domaine de Canaille is exactly what you’d imagine when thinking of a timeless French Riviera wedding location. With a combination of classic and contemporary styles, it is positioned on 150 acres of land with full privacy.

You can hold your ceremony on the breathtaking front terrace, and then walk down to the secluded beach afterwards for a champagne reception. Dinner will also be served on the five-thousand square foot terrace, and your guests can lounge by the lovely saltwater pool after dinner or the next morning.

Domaine de Canaille can sleep up to 24 people across 12 rooms and has a 130 person maximum capacity for the wedding itself.

2. Villa Ephrussi De Rothschild

Located on the Cote D’Azur, the Villa Ephrussi De Rothschild is simply dreamy and like something out of a Wes Anderson film. Dipped in pastel pink with intricate architectural detailing, this standout venue is a wonderful pick for any couple after a romantic, yet eccentric and one of a kind venue. With curiosities and something to look at with every turn, your guests will feel so lucky to have been invited to such a special place. With a large ornate pond fronting the villa and carefully manicured grounds surrounding it, the venue offers up photo opportunity and moments of wonder aplenty. With floor to ceiling windows, the traditionally French venue is bathed in light throughout, offering up to nine separate themed rooms for you to choose from. Each garden surrounding the villa is themed, equalling nine gardens in total: Florentine, Spanish, Garden a la Francaise, Japanese, Provencal, Garden de Sevres, Exotic, Rose Garden and a Stone Garden. Located only a 30 minute drive from Nice airport or just a 20 minute drive from Monaco airport if you’re feeling fancy, it is easy for you and your guests to get to.

3. Hotel Les Roche Rouge

This fifties waterfront retreat is the epitome of effortless cool, the laidback French girl of the hotel world if you will. With an easy going and natural style right on the water, the whole place is inspired by the shimmering cobalt blue med and the auburn orange rocks. With the ability to host up to 60 guests, the hotel can be exclusively yours for the evening, with a private beach where you can exchange your vows and a floating bridge for your guests. Your ceremony will then be followed by a meal on the terrace, looking directly out to the shimmering sea. We would strongly recommend nabbing one of the beds that surround it the day after the wedding, and ordering aperitifs to nurse any hangovers.

4. La Campagne Des Jumeaux

Tucked away behind Pampelonne’s buzzing bay, you’ll find the beautiful La Campagne Des Jumeaux. Originally designed as a private residence for a celebrated St Tropez dentist, the farmhouse brings with it a real homely and intimate feel in its new life as a B&B and event venue. In fact, the granddaughter of the dentist still has her horse roaming in the fields, along with plenty of donkeys, geese, sheep and the venues very own beehive.

Inside the farmhouse the design is laidback modern with lots of contemporary arts and sculptures, lending a very chic vibe to proceedings. Plus your guests get to enjoy the beach nearby after the ceremony, as it can be easily accessed via a lavender scented garden path from the farmhouse. We’re obsessed with the cool laidback feel of this venue and love the idea of an intimate yet decadent wedding here, with it’s definite tinge of Hollywood glamour.

5. Hotel Belles Rives

Located on the famous road of the Cap d’Antibes, Hotel Belles Rives is described as the ‘mythical palace on the sea’, and it’s fair to say that’s pretty accurate. The Art Deco building sits flush with the water and you can just feel the magic from back in the roaring twenties. At the venue, weddings can take place in the golden room named La Passagère, which opens onto a breathtaking terrace along the Cote d’Azur, with views across the Estérel Mountains and Lérins Islands. Plus if you fancy taking your wedding entirely outdoors, you can host it on their private beach that can welcome up to 600 guests.

6. Tiara Yaktsa

A 5* hotel set between the vibrant red rocks of the Esterel and the deep blue mediterranean sea, the venue decked out in silks, fine fabrics and exquisite artwork invites guests to dream of the Arabian nights. With it’s carefully manicured gardens and infinity pool, the hotel has a soothing and peaceful atmosphere. 7. Chateau Mandelieu la Napoule

As one of the biggest castles on the French Riviera, Chateau Mandelieu La Napoule is located on the beach opposite the bay of Cannes. Originally built in the 14th century, it is medieval in feel with dreamlike decor throughout the venue space. Their terrace overlooking the sea is the perfect place to get married, followed by a reception in the garden or on one of the panoramic terraces. Their maximum capacity for outdoor weddings is 500, with the indoor spaces being able to host between 70 - 150 guests.

8. Chateau Eza

Built over 400 years ago, Chateau Eza was the former residence of a Swedish prince! An intimate wedding venue, it clings to the side of the ancient rock wall of Eze and can seat up to 20 of your guests. It also has 14 lovely rooms and suites for your guests to stay in too, so you can keep everyone all in one place for a memorable wedding weekend.

9. Le Cap Estel

Located on it’s very own two-hectare peninsula jutting out into the mediterranean sea, Le Cap Estel is in a really unique spot within the area. With 3 out of 4 sides of the venue being surrounded by water, you’ll get impressive panoramic views on your wedding day and beautiful photos too. 12. Chateau de la Messardière

Suspended in the hills with a 180 degree view of the Mediterranean, the impressive 5* Chateau de la Messardière dates back to the 19th century, with its history woven into the fabric of St Tropez and French folklore. 13. Chateau La Chevre d’Or 

Ranking number one on the Conde Nast Traveller Top 20 Hotels in France and Monaco, Chateau La Chevre D’Or is a real treat for your guests. They have an abundance of spaces in which to host your wedding, from their panoramic terraces to their beautiful gardens and reception rooms - it’s perfect for a smaller wedding with the ability to host up to 80 guests. For dinner, you can take advantage of their impressive culinary skills, with their on site restaurant La Chevre D’Or being the recipient of 2 Michellin stars.
