Provence
Chateau Saint Roseline
Located in the centre of Provence, near to Saint Tropez, the French Riviera and just 45 minute’s drive from Nice, the beautiful and rustic Chateau Sainte Roseline is ideal if you fancy yourself a French countryside wedding but still with plenty to do around you. Whilst this wedding venue is a fab location for a small, homely and intimate wedding of 30, if you do happen to change your mind, it can actually host up to 250 people indoors and a gargantuan 1,000 people outdoors. As a winery estate, you can sip on their homemade wines throughout your wedding weekend and indulge you and your guests in tours and tastings on the days surrounding your wedding. With an onsite chapel, the local village priest of Les Arc can bless you before moving onto your reception, where you can host your welcome drinks in the picturesque 12th century cloister. Domaine De Manville

Bastide Saint Julien
For a venue that makes you feel really at home - albeit a very grand one - then look no further than Bastide Saint Julien. With lush and verdant grounds surrounding the Provencal country house, it strikes the ideal balance between impressive yet cosy. Taking care and attention of your intimate event, they can tailor the day entirely to you. The venues spaces are large yet feel intimate, through the carefully curated modern rustic design. La Lauren
Featuring possibly the prettiest, whimsical garden we’ve seen in a while, this medieval chateau is truly at one with nature as it nestles in beautifully amongst the Provencal countryside. The venue can hold up to 80 guests, with the ability to get married in the lavender fields or in the French garden for really intimate wedding ceremonies. Following the beautiful ceremony, your wedding reception can take place al fresco on the lawn weather permitting, with views over the tumbling hills of lavender fields and thereafter, you can enjoy the music later into the evening in their small country dance hall. The chateau is home to lots of authentic and classic decor along with medieval fireplaces and can sleep up to 6 people, with further accommodation in the village nearby.

Château Les Carrasses
Chateau les Carrasses is a beautiful turreted building, set within vast grounds that can sleep up to 124 guests across 30 suites, cottages and flats, with some of the larger properties even having their own private pools and gardens. Approached via a quintessentially french tree lined driveway, framed by vineyards, forestland and with the Pyrenees in the distance, the venue has a modern and classic french interior, that feels luxurious yet homely. Your ceremony can take place in the local church, the gardens or by the lovely glass garden house, which was supposedly built by Gustave Eiffel, of Eiffel Tower fame! The reception will then follow either on the main terrace or within a marquee set by the pool, with the opportunity to take the evening party into the atmospheric wine cellar, where you can party well into the evening.

Chateau De Blomac
Set within the heart of the wine region, Chateau de Blomac is a relaxed and elegant wedding venue that feels typically french. It is the ideal location for an al fresco wedding, with the ability to get married within the private parkland and follow this with your wedding reception on the sheltered terrace. When you’re ready to hit the dance floor, head down to the ‘place de la fete’, a dance floor tucked under an illuminated boho marquee prepped and ready with a bar so you can party until 2am.
When it comes to location, the Chateau is placed within the centre of a sweet little village that your guests can easily visit and stay within. It is 35 mins from Carcassonne and 90 minutes from Toulouse, so easily accessed via car from the airport.

Chateau D’Argent
Featuring a beautiful sandy toned exterior with picture perfect blue shutters and a romantic courtyard for dining and dancing, Chateau D’Argent ticks lots of boxes for the classic French wedding. It is a historic building, first sold in 1156 by the King of France to the Bishop of Uzes. Catering to an exclusive number of just 15 weddings per year, the service and attention to detail is high, and early bookings are highly recommended.
The venue consists of three different welcome reception spaces, a choice of bars to host your guests at along with a raised dance floor and band space. They provide on the day coordination along with all staffing required.
It is located in a small village overlooking the Alzon Valley at the western point of Provence, along with having the Rhone valley on its doorstep. The village has plenty of accommodation for your guests, with the opportunity to stay in the Chateau’s unique facility Hill Top Retreat.

Baumanière Les Baux-De-Provence
Perfectly located in the heart of Provence, near to the medieval town of Baux de Provence, this restored 16th Century Provencal farmhouse is a great choice if you want to embrace all the wonders of Provence, and serves as a great base from which your guests can explore the area. The farmhouse itself is beautiful and feels really authentic, surrounded by lavender, rose gardens, olive groves and boxwood. It blends both traditional and modern styles wonderfully, whilst ensuring it feels like a warm and welcoming place to be.

Le Mas de la Rose
A large traditional Provençal country home, La Mas de la Rose is set within 25 hectares of land and dates back to the 17th century. It’s the perfect option if you’d like the grandeur of a large house with a cosy and homely feel to it. Within the house you’ll find natural and elegant interiors, that strike the right balance between modern and traditional, in a way that sometimes only the French know how. With panoramic views across the parkland and a large swimming pool surrounded by lavender, there are plenty of places to hold different aspects of your day and will no doubt ensure your guests have a great time. The venue has capacity for 150 people and can sleep up to 24.

Chateau De Vieux Palais
A charming and characterful 17th century chateau, the Chateau du Vieux Palais is a quintessentially French, laid-back wedding location. Originally built for the Archbishop, it is surrounded by Saint Victoire mountain and feels really luxurious and tranquil.
The estate’s grounds are host to an abundance of activities, including a private swimming pool, tennis court, boules court and endless amounts of gardens and parklands to explore.
The venue can hold 110 guests both inside and out for the reception and can sleep 22 within its bedrooms.

Domaine de Canaille
Tucked in the bay of Cassis on the French Riviera, Domaine de Canaille is exactly what you’d imagine when thinking of the classic French Riviera wedding location. With a combination of classic and contemporary styles, it is positioned on 150 acres of land with full privacy.
You can hold your ceremony on the breathtaking front terrace, and then walk down to the secluded beach afterwards for a champagne reception. Dinner will also be served on the five-thousand square foot terrace, and your guests can lounge by the saltwater pool after dinner or the next morning.
Domaine de Canaille can sleep up to 24 people across 12 rooms and has a 130 person maximum capacity for the wedding itself.

Chateau Fontaine
Featuring an 18th century facade, Chateau Fontaine is Provençal charm at its best. With its picture ready symmetrical frontage complete with duck egg blue shutters, it is situated within 8 hectares of parkland with an abundance of locations to get married. From the Jardins a la Francaise and fountains and ponds, to the orchards and organic garden, you can choose different locations for different moods. You have the option of dining al fresco or under a marquee, and can then make the most of a BBQ by the infinity pool the day after.
The consecrated chapel can host up to 70 guests for the ceremony, the Chateau can host up to 150 for the ceremony, and is also able to sleep 29 people on site too.
Other crucial amenities that the Chateau offer are an on-site fitness area, a tennis court and even a helipad! We’re sure this must have come in really handy when Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner hosted their wedding here in 2019…
In terms of location, it is situated in the heart of a village close to lots of the key cultural and historical sights of Provence. Handily, it is also perfect situated for a wine tour of Chateauneuf du Pape and close to the lovely Avignon.

Cote D’Azur
Villa Ephrussi De Rothschild
Located on the Cote D’Azur, the Villa Ephrussi De Rothschild is simply dreamy and like something out of a Wes Anderson film. Dipped in pastel pink with intricate architectural detailing, this standout venue is a wonderful pick for any couple after a romantic, yet eccentric and one of a kind venue. With curiosities and something to look at with every turn, your guests will feel so lucky to have been invited to such a special place. With a large ornate pond fronting the villa and carefully manicured grounds surrounding it, the venue offers up photo opportunity and moments of wonder aplenty. With floor to ceiling windows, the traditionally French venue is bathed in light throughout, offering up to nine separate themed rooms for you to choose from. Each garden surrounding the villa is themed, equalling nine gardens in total: Florentine, Spanish, Garden a la Francaise, Japanese, Provencal, Garden de Sevres, Exotic, Rose Garden and a Stone Garden. Located only a 30 minute drive from Nice airport or just a 20 minute drive from Monaco airport if you’re feeling fancy, it is easy for you and your guests to get to.

Hotel Les Roche Rouge
This fifties waterfront retreat is the epitome of effortless cool, the laidback French girl of the hotel world if you will. With an easy going and natural style right on the water, the whole place is inspired by the shimmering cobalt blue med and the auburn orange rocks. With the ability to host up to 60 guests, the hotel can be exclusively yours for the evening, with a private beach where you can exchange your vows and a floating bridge for your guests. Your ceremony will then be followed by a meal on the terrace, looking directly out to the shimmering sea. There are plenty of elegant and comfortable rooms for your guests to stay in, including a sea view suite for the newlyweds to stay in, with the always lovely extra of a champagne breakfast in bed. The hotel is renowned for its breathtaking 30 metre saltwater pool that is carved out of the rocks below, spilling out into the sea. We would strongly recommend nabbing one of the beds that surround it the day after the wedding, and ordering aperitifs to nurse any hangovers.

Chateau Saint-Martin
Chateau Saint-Martin is set on the French Riviera, is steeped in history and has many glamorous tales to tell too. You have the option of getting married within their 12th century chapel on site, followed by the reception either amongst the shady olive groves or in one of eight different event spaces they have for you to choose from. Prepare to be impressed by the food, which will be cooked by their Michelin starred restaurant as you gaze out across the beautiful sea views.
The chateau hotel has 52 suites, so there is plenty of space to have all your guests stay. Whilst you and your guests are there, be sure to take advantage of the wine tastings available, the spa and the gorgeous garden infinity pool.

Gascony
Chateau Engalin
A chic, design-led space located in Gascony, this 18th century former residence has been converted into a modern and minimalist venue. Taking its name from the Galin, the stream that runs through and around the grounds, the venue is super private and set amongst 13 hectares of meadow land, bordered by fields of sunflowers and wheat. With the option to have it exclusively with a late license until 2am, the Chateau can host up to 120 people and can sleep 22 across 11 bedrooms for your core wedding party. It’s just 45 minutes from Toulouse airport and close to other accommodation for the rest of your wedding guests. Brought back to live over the space of 10 years by former London restauranteur Marwan Badran and business entrepreneur Jeremy Grose, they have carefully restored the exterior of the hotel to its former glory, whilst injecting a good dose of modernist style into the interiors. They define their interior style as ‘contemporary luxury with playful hints of the unexpected’, which feels pretty spot on to us. The venue can comfortably host up to 100 guests, with in-house catering from their professional kitchen. With a keen eye for design and convivial proceedings, the owners will be on hand to help you through the process.

Avignon
La Divine Comedie
If you’re on the lookout for a real hidden gem, then for us – this is it. Located in Avignon, La Divine Comedie lives tucked away beyond an unmarked gate, surrounded by Avignon’s largest secret garden. Made up of five rooms in total, the hotel is owned by Parisians Gilles Jauffret, an interior design and an avid lover of antiques, and Amaury de Villoutreys. It took them five years of restoration, but in that time they’ve managed to transform the former residence into a theatrical space filled with gorgeous antiques, hand painted screens and crystal chandeliers. With the décor being inspired by Naples, Venice and the Middle East, the effect is mesmerising and makes you just want to be there, be it for a wedding or purely to soak it in during a night’s stay. For your wedding you can enjoy breakfast in the sunlit conservatory, walk the jasmine path leading to the stone pool and spa pavilion for afternoon drinks and spend dinner in the orangery. For the days surrounding the wedding, make sure you check out the bar next door called ‘Le Complot’ where theatre loving locals gather to enjoy wine, sardines and fois gras, to really take in the authentic French feel.

Assignan
Village Castigno
A venue full of quirk that feels like a nice nod to the Wes Anderson aesthetic, Village Castigno describes itself as ‘bohemian, countryside and always chic’. Situated right in the middle of the Saint-Chinian wine country, the place buzzes with life and happiness. It consists of three impressive restaurants, a spa, a busy café and rooms dotted amongst original stone townhouses and stables. The owners Tine and Marc Verstaete are originally from Belgium, with Tine’s passion for design learned over a lifetime of working in film production. Village Castigno is a clever mix of a relaxed and lively atmosphere with food that packs a punch (and is tipped to be getting a Michelin star). Prepare for it to be an unplugged wedding as the hotel purposefully has no wifi, so your guests can truly enjoy the moment. For in and around the wedding, hire scooters to tour around the local vineyards, get creative in the nearby ceramic studio or taste some of the chateau’s organic wine.

Ramatuelle
La Campagne Des Jumeaux
Tucked away behind Pampelonne’s buzzing bay, you’ll find the beautiful La Campagne Des Jumeaux. Originally designed as a private residence for a celebrated St Tropez dentist, the farmhouse brings with it a real homely and intimate feel in its new life as a B&B and event venue. In fact, the granddaughter of the dentist still has her horse roaming in the fields, along with plenty of donkeys, geese, sheep and the venues very own beehive.
Inside the farmhouse the design is laidback modern with lots of contemporary arts and sculptures, lending a very chic vibe to proceedings. Plus your guests get to enjoy the beach nearby after the ceremony, as it can be easily accessed via a lavender scented garden path from the farmhouse. We’re obsessed with the cool laidback feel of this venue and love the idea of an intimate yet decadent wedding here, with it’s definite tinge of Hollywood glamour. St Tropez
The Muse
For laidback decadence in an intimate and cool setting, then The Muse in St Tropez ticks all those boxes and more. Taking inspiration from Greek gods and goddess through its design and ambience, it’s a venue that really encapsulates the low key glamour of the Riviera. Situated in Ramatuelle in the gulf of St Tropez, it is just an hour away from the airport of Toulon-Hyères, which is easily accessed via London Stansted.
The architectural design of the hotel is focused on simplicity and is nestled within an award-winning ecological and self-sustainable garden, which makes for a really relaxing and easy-going environment. It has 15 suites on site and is pet and child friendly, so the whole family can come along for the experience.

Chateau St Pierre de Serjac
Surrounded by luscious rolling vineyards, Chateau St Pierre de Serjac, a restored 19th century manor house turned hotel is located in the popular Montpellier. The chateau has its own working winery and around the main chateau all the smaller original buildings have been converted into small self catering villas, providing the ideal accommodation for your guests. There are eight rooms within the main chateau and a further substantial 36 self catering villas across the grounds. The Chateau is also home to a large outdoor heated infinity pool, Hammam spa, saunas and hydrotherapy pool, with plenty of beautiful French countryside surrounding the property for lovely walks and bike rides on the days around your wedding. The Cannonerie
Located on top of a sunny hill in the centre of Cognac, La Cannonerie is surrounded by 30 acres of rolling countryside and features an impressive courtyard for all your wedding festivities. With no neighbours surrounding it, the venue is wonderfully peaceful but equally perfect for partying well into the night. It has a variety of spaces to accommodate your ceremony and reception, from going al fresco in the courtyard, to inside the stone Loggia or wedding barn, all of which can accommodate up to 100 guests. The morning after can be spent by the 14m long heated swimming pool, as you revel in the memories of the previous day.
Up to 36 guests can be accommodated across their seven lovely cottages, providing them with exclusive use of the domaine over the weekend. The spa town of Jonzac is just 5 minutes away and Cognac only 20 minutes, so there’s plenty of surrounding accommodation for those guests who aren’t hosted on site.

Dordogne and Lot, Midi-Pyrenees
Chateau Naudou
Positioned between Bordeaux and Toulouse, Chateau Naudou feels like a combination of a French and Italian chateau. Featuring a courtyard lined with cypress trees, an impressive pool, all weather tennis court, an orchard and a lovely flower meadow filled with wild orchids, there are plenty of areas to entertain your guests throughout the wedding weekend. Located on a verdant valley with beautiful views across the area, you can choose to host your wedding indoors or outside under the fairy lights. Plus, with over 11 years experience planning and hosting more than 200 weddings, the in-house chef and wedding planner know how to make your weekend run smoothly and truly bring your ideas alive.
The domaine can sleep up to 26 people on site and the chateau has the ability to sleep 14 guests in the rooms. There is also a cottage that has 2 bedrooms and the Pigeonnier has 4 bedrooms. The guests are also welcome to use the main, well-equipped kitchen during their stay too.

Chateau de Puissentut
Tucked within the rolling hills, Chateau de Puissentut has a rustic and magical feel to it with a half timbered structure, sage green shutters and beautiful blooms of rose and lavender surrounding it. Functioning slightly differently from the typical wedding package, the friendly and approachable owners work as ‘wedding facilitators’. This means they’ll give you recommendations for the best suppliers in the areas and are able to offer packages of tables and chairs, tableware, linen, lighting, PA systems and set up and coordination on the day.
There are plenty of places to enjoy your day on the grounds, starting off with holding a wedding blessing within the 17th century Pigeonnier, with views across the valley. The reception can be help on the lawn, in the courtyard, or if the weather isn’t holding up, you can also have the reception in the light airy barn.
Complete with a pool for a BBQ party the following day, the venue can hold up to 120 people and sleep up to 26 people.

Chateau Perigourdin
Perched upon the top of a mountain with views over the Dordogne river, Chateau Perigoudin’s location is pretty hard to beat. In terms of style, it feels like a combination between a grand chateau and a quaint country farmhouse, making it feel like a homely and intimate place to get married. The options for where you get married are plentiful - with a chapel in the grounds, their Garden a la Française that’s home to lots of roses and fruit trees, and even a woods that features a cave sheltering a statue of the Virgin Mary with views over the Dordogne River. The reception can be held inside for under 130 guests in the connecting lounges or outside in the garden facing the valley. For over 130 guests, they recommend choosing a marquee within the grounds. Having been completely renovated in 2013, Chateau de Redon embraces modern style whilst preserving all the traditional elements of the building, from the old wooden floors, traditional fireplaces and detailed woodwork around the building. The venue feels luxurious and spacious, giving your guests ample amounts of room to both mingle at the wedding and when staying overnight. It has a real ‘home away from home’ feel, with a cosy kitchen complete with a large dining space for brunching with your wedding party, and a large comfy lounge for chilling in the day after. For the reception you can dine outside under the fairy light hung trees, surrounded by 2 hectares of private park.

Chateau Cedre
Crafted using local pale stone and featuring soft blue shutters, Chateau Cedre is the quintessential chateau look. Wisteria climbs its way up the building’s facade, creating a romantic and dreamlike venue that will form a beautiful backdrop to your wedding day. Housed within the courtyard and lined by rows of Cypress trees is a 19 metre pool that your guests will no doubt enjoy across the wedding weekend.
The building can host up to 300 guests outside and 180 inside, with a mixture of both large rooms ideal for the main event and smaller more intimate rooms for gatherings later in the evening.

Le Manoir Du Bout Dupont
Dating back to the 17th century, the Manoir is steeped in history and filled with lots of rustic charm, situated within two hectares of grounds. Bordering both the Dordogne and Lot, it is the perfect base from which your guests can explore the regions before or after the wedding. It is ideal for an intimate wedding but can also host up to 150 guests, with the ability to sleep 20 guests on site.
The Manoir’s lush gardens are home to plenty of places to hold your reception, from a pretty walled garden lined with lavender to a lawned courtyard and pergolas of wisteria, along with plenty of hidden and secluded areas for guests to discover throughout the day.
