1. Castle Leslie

Located in the village of Glaslough, just 80 minutes drive from Dublin and 60 minutes from Belfast, the commanding Castle Leslie is a 5 star luxury hotel that is perfect for timeless and classic wedding. You can host your ceremony outside overlooking the lake or within the castle for up to 70 guests, followed by a reception in their marquee style pavilion for up to 270 guests. Surrounded by lots of beautiful landscaped gardens and in a secluded location, there is an abundance of spaces at the venue to host your wedding events in and take those all important wedding photos.

2. Tankardstown House

A 19th century luxury Irish country house located in County Meath, this venue looks like it was made to host weddings. Forming a lovely white and pale backdrop to your wedding style, it can be exclusively yours on the day. Host your ceremony or wedding breakfast within their Orangery, a bright ballroom that can seat up to 230 guests, or alternatively host your wedding outside in their pretty walled garden. Feast on their award-winning food throughout the day and once everyone has danced the night away, retire to the many bedrooms within the main house and in the cottages dotted around the grounds.

3. Ballymagarvey Village

Tucked within a private estate in the historic Boyne Valley, this beautiful rustic stone wedding venue is surrounded by lots of lovely farmland and forest courtesy of the County Meath area. Host your civil ceremony inside The Mill for up to 170 guests, followed by a sit down dinner in the Banqueting Hall for up to 226 guests. Make the most of their pretty Victorian walled garden for your drinks reception and let your guests roam and explore the wonderful grounds. The venue has on site accommodation and is located just a 30 minute drive from Dublin, perfect for people getting to and from the wedding, and for exploring on the days before and after too!

4. Virginia Park Lodge

A pretty 19th century hunting lodge surrounded by 100 acres of countryside and overlooking Lough Ramor, this characterful and charming venue was also a winner of ‘Country House of the Year’ in 2018, if that helps you to envision just how lovely it is! The venue can be exclusively yours for the full weekend with the ability to sleep up to 125 guests, so you can have a real house party style wedding weekend. Host your wedding ceremony outside overlooking the lake followed by a reception within their Pavilion, which can seat up to 300 guests for your wedding meal. Located close to Dublin, the venue also boasts award-winning food and its own golf course too.

5. Ballyfin

Long regarded as one of the the most lavish Regency mansions in Ireland, the stately Ballyfin is a 5 star wedding venue nestled within a 600 acre estate complete with a church, lake, fountains and century old trees. Known for their warm Irish hospitality and service, the venue has an abundance of lovely spaces for you to host your wedding day events within. Host your ceremony within the house or in the gardens by the lake, with the option of hosting more intimate ceremonies within their stunning conservatory. Enjoy a drinks reception on the lawn with views across the lake or within the conservatory, followed by your wedding breakfast either in one of their State Dining Rooms with views over the water for up to 70 guests, or within their Ballroom which can seat 130 guests. The venue has 20 bedrooms available for your guests, in addition to a little cottage in the grounds that can sleep 5 along with a gym, 14 metre swimming pool and two spa treatment rooms.

6. Kilshane House

Located in the heart of Tipperary, the impressive Kilshane House was built in 1822 on 320 acres of private parkland and is home to a beautiful 1860’s curvilinear conservatory that looks striking alongside the main building. For medium to large weddings, host your ceremony within the pagoda on the lake or in one of the gardens and for smaller weddings, you have the option using the conservatory. Your wedding breakfast will be served in their timeless Orangerie, complete with a bar at one end and a dance floor at the other with up to 280 of your guests. The venue also has 54 bedrooms that are only available to your guests, making this an exclusive use wedding venue.
