1. Palácio Marqueses de Fronteira 

Built originally in 1670 as a family summer home to the 1st Marquis of Fronteira, this intricate and breathtakingly beautiful wedding venue is hard to beat. The venue is surrounded by several gardens and fountains, including their beautifully manicured formal gardens, with a large Tank of Knights, decorated with detailed statues. The venue has various different spaces to celebrate in both inside and out, including their Terrace Galleries of the Liberal Arts, which is lovely for a cocktail reception of up to 156 guests. Inside the palace there are two rooms available to use - a smaller room that can host up to 52 guests and The Sala das Batalhas which can host up to 100 guests, both of which open out onto the patio.

Constructed back in the 1950s, the beautifully botanical Estufa Fria was originally built as a plant shelter and spans 800 square metres in size. Filled with hundreds of species of different plants from all over the world, waterfalls, pools, creeks and statues, it’s a really magical spot to get married. Plus it can host up to a whopping 1000 guests, so there’s no need to worry about cutting down the guest list.

3. Quinta Nova do Hespanhol

A sophisticated and elegant venue with a slight rustic feel, Quinta Nova do Hespanhol is a charming spot with a traditional muted yellow facade. Available for exclusive hire, host your wedding of up to 80 guests across their lovely interior spaces with exposed wood beams and white walls and in their exterior courtyard, terrace and gardens.

A stunning 16th century palace from the Baroque era, Palácio Correio-Mor is a premium wedding venue looked after by the team at FA Event Management. Designed in a U shaped layout, the venue features a courtyard leading to a staircase and a two storey building that is covered in azulejos tiles, stucco, artistic sculptures and paintings. The venue can host up to 950 guests and is perfect for a modern and elegant wedding.

5. Solar de Pancas

Located in the vineyard region of Lisbon, Solar de Pancas is a stunning 15th century manor covered in swathes of lush greenery. They have an abundance of indoor and outdoor spaces available for the ceremony and the reception, all with views of the pretty manicured gardens and grounds. Weddings both large and small can work well here, and it is conveniently located just 35 minutes from the airport.

6. Forte da Cruz

Located on the vast coastline of Tamariz beach complete with white sands and turquoise blue waters, Forte da Cruz is a 17th century castle originally built to provide security to the wealthy classes enjoying their summer holidays on the beach. With a beautiful terrace by the sea that is perfect for hosting a ceremony, you can then celebrate your reception within their marquee with up to 250 guests, or in one of their historic rooms with up to 100 guests. A cool, modern and luxurious spot to host a wedding, Areias do Seixo features a contemporary and cutting edge concrete and glass exterior. Within you’ll find romantic, muted and cosy interiors filled with toasty fireplaces, sheepskin throws, cream linens, exposed wood and stone. The venue is also surrounded by pine groves and sand dunes and the grounds are home to an infinity pool, spa and pretty gardens. A charming wedding venue that also doubles up as a winery, Quinta da Serralheira is licensed to host both your ceremony and reception for up to 140 guests. With a main barn space to host your wedding within, they also have alternative rooms available for more intimate weddings of up to 30 guests.

A stunning 16th century house with pale brick, ivy covered walls and surrounded by idyllic grounds, Quinta das Torres is a pretty dreamy spot to get married in.
